The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance. ~ Aristotle

Jacqueline’s creative process typically involves painting three series of eight to ten abstract paintings a year.  Each series takes from three to four months to complete and is based on a positive or uplifting theme or topic.

Jacqueline carefully paints using a layering process with ample time in between for each coat to dry. This method allows portions of each of the previous coats to show through to the finished surface and also allows time for the artist to reflect on each layer as inspiration for what should be applied next.  Jacqueline uses top quality acrylic paint and other artist mediums on gallery wrapped canvas.

Once completed, each painting is sealed with a conservation varnish and the canvas edges are painted black and pre-wired for hanging. Please email the artist for purchasing inquires here.
